Checking back in on this thread and update on my rattle noise, I'm pretty sure its the cheap tweeters up front. Depending on music i can get them to rattle and make the noise. Its the identical to the noise heard when i turn radio off and hit a few bumps, which then creates the noise i usually...

Was it a pain to get the grill off? Any special tools. Looks great

Just picked up my XL and have about 180 on it and having same issue, mine almost sounds like its bouncing left to right and cant pin point it, definitely front dash though, driving me crazy if I turn radio off. Glad to see I'm not the only one, anyone have any updates.
