  1. Clay Bar for 1 year old Maverick?

This. Light touch and lots of lube is the key
  2. Cover for Wiper Well

Yikes. That kinda sucks. With the other vehicles I've tried it on you have to reengage the wipers using the stalk before they'll move again.
  3. Cover for Wiper Well

Most vehicles (don't own a Mav yet) have the ability to park them with the wipers at a partial arc. A recent rental for example you'd shut the car off and within 20 secs pull on the wiper stalk and they'd set them selves at about 50% wipe so you could get them up off the glass when expecting...
  4. Why is this article so dismissive of the Hybrid?

I think you'd be shocked if you knew how easy it is to create content that leads people to the conclusions you want them to believe. It wouldn't surprise me if Ford contributed to or paid for this in order to move the Ecoboosts. They have zero problems moving hybrid units and everything you...
  5. What is a Maverick "Hero"?

This guy has it. Ford's marketing team asleep at the wheel.
  6. Installed A Trickle Charger - '24 Lariat Hybrid (Not intended as a "bash Ford Policies discussion starter.)

Not criticizing, but genuinely asking for other's and my own sake. Would it not have been easier to run a pluggable extension so the trickle charger doesn't live in the vehicle? Essentially the connection you already have ending in a capped waterproof 2-wire plug and a corresponding set on the...
  7. Non Lobo 2025 Maverick XLT Street Build

Where does your exhaust exit? In one pic it looks like you have an exhaust tip behind the front tire 😳
  8. Two Door Single Cab

I agree with this. However, the largest reason sales have declined for single cabs is that companies have stopped offering them. That's my take on it. I bought an 02 truck, single cab off the lot. Now you have to go through fleet sales to even see one.
  9. Power Train Guesses?

I'm with you. I'd love options. Just seems that with Ford's interesting financial situation they're likely going to need to streamline production as much as possible. Even more so if they botch the F150 launch or end up with substantial recalls.
  10. Power Train Guesses?

It's possible they go the Ranger route and only offer a single powertrain. Being at altitude I'd be happy to see anything with a turbo...
  11. Maverick Interior size speculation

    This is helpful. Thank you!
  12. Maverick Interior size speculation

Generally, folks expect the Maverick to be about 2ft shorter than a Ranger. Having owned the Ranger, I'm trying to figure out where they're going to cut the 2 ft from? If it's a crew cab only, I can see the interior being significantly smaller or there being almost no bed. Anyone care to...
