I have a 66 mile commute of which about 50 is highway and Iām getting 39-43 mpg on eco mode. I drive about 70 mph on the highway though occasionally a bit faster. I put 100k miles on a Malibu hybrid and, so far, the truck is getting better mileage than my Malibu did. I expect it to improve...
My previous car was a ā17 Malibu hybrid that I put 100k miles on. It definitely got better mileage off the highway. Iām up to about 1000 miles with my Maverick and seeing similar results in terms of city vs highway. The one thing I will say about the Maverick is that it is much more capable of...
I am in NY (north of NYC) and my truck shipped 2/15. It arrived yesterday! I had no tracking info other than a date of 3/22 on the tracker prior to them taking those estimated dates off.
My truck was delivered to the dealer today. I ordered back on 7/2, an XLT with Lux and 360. Build date was 2/16 and it shipped the next day. Iām in NYS, so I was pleasantly surprised to get a text from the dealer today that the truck had arrived. Picking it up tomorrow!
I have a Malibu hybrid and it was just in the shop for an unrelated repair. I asked the Chevy service guys and was told theyāve seen them get 200-300k miles without needing replacement. My car is currently at 103k.
This will be our second vehicle weāve bought in the last 3 years that is in its first model year. The Kia Telluride was the other. Weāve had zero issues with the Kia so far. Fingers crossed we have similar luck with the Maverick. I will say that Iām considering getting an extended warranty with...
I have felt this pain on both fronts. I was waiting for 3 months last summer for the dealer to receive a part to fix a crankshaft cover that was broken on my Chevy Malibu, essentially rendering it inoperable for anything other than a very short distance. On the Maverick side, I ordered on 7/2...
Iām in NY and my truck was built yesterday. It has an estimated delivery date of 3/22. Iāll update when it ships as I suspect that delivery date is subject to change.
Congrats! I got a window sticker on 2/5 and my truck was built yesterday. Iāve seen others who had theirs built closer to when the window sticker showed up. I think it varies by build. Keep an eye on the modules. Those filled in for me before the tracker was updated.
My modules showed up yesterday morning and the bottom area which lists estimated delivery date (just below the VIN) now shows a date of 3/22 (that showed up this morning). Iām in NY, so thatās a lot farther of a trek than many of you.
I ordered July 2nd and have never received an email either. Similarly, my dealer has never been able to provide me with any information. I finally got a VIN at some point in December when speaking to a customer service rep on the phone. She didnāt know when the build date was but estimated late...
I ordered an Area 51 XLT Lux with CP360 back on 7/2/21. My order went to "in production" status via the tracker on 2/4 (though no date listed). Today, my modules populated and the tracker now lists today's date (2/15) in the timeline under "in production." It seems that the timeline varies from...
I have seen posts from a couple of XLT owners that were marked built recently, but you might be right. My XLT (lux/360) has been "in production" since 2/4. I don't know my actual build date since I've never received any emails from Ford (and my dealer doesn't get updates either).
I also have a date of 2/4/22 at the bottom of my window sticker but no movement at all. Iām in the dark since Iāve never received any emails from Ford. Hopefully I see an update soon given what many of you are reporting. I ordered on 7/2.
Congrats! What options did you have? I have the same in production date listed (2/4) but no other updates yet. I have XLT lux w CP360 and sliding rear window.
Congrats!! Just curious, what does the Ford tracker show? Iāve been reading that sometimes the tracker doesnāt update even after the truck has been built. Mine went into production last week too, but Iāve never received an email from Ford so Iāve largely been in the dark.
