My EB AWD XLT was ordered Dec 20, 2021 and received June 20, 2022. Lux pkg, full size spare and floor mats were only options. I knew there would be an extended wait, but sure enjoy the vehicle.
I ordered my AWB XLT on Dec 20, 2021. Dealer had no info, suggested I go online to view and build, but added nothing to sticker and asked only a $200 deposit, which was refunded after we settled. Delivery was June 20, about the 6 months we expected it would take. Lux pkg had gone from spray in...
I should note that my order was placed late in the game: Dec 20, 2021. Incentives may have already ended. I did explain the smart vincent protection date, and was assured that had been entered. No complaints about my dealer, Capital City Ford in Pierre SD.
I just received my XLT AWB June 20, and was told that 0% was not available, but that 1.9% was. I was financing 10K for 36 months, so the difference was minimal. It seems that different regions or dealers might have different options, but neither was likely to result in a big perk for dealer.
I ordered Dec 20, 2021 and was told that the lux pkg would be a drop in liner due to spray in constraints. I believe there was a slight price adjustmet, a different number or suffix for the package, and I am very happy with the drop in. ET from order to delivery was right at 6 months.
The small size is what appealed to me. Roomy enough to transport other humans, much lower entry and lift heights, at reduced weight and fuel consumption. Others are welcome to their opinions.
I was surprised to find my window sticker Friday night, April 22. Had not received any email since build week was pushed back to April 25 week in Feb. Dec 20 order, XLT lux.
This is a legitimate concern and deserves a bit of problem solving. 1) park into the wind whenever possible, and be conscious of wind direction. 2) Use the Dutch reach by holding the door handle with your right hand. Not only to keep control of the door, but to turn enough to see any bicyclists...
I suspect that you will be amazed at the cost of a fifth OEM wheel and tire. For something that is rarely used, I think the "full sized" spare fits the bill at a reasonable cost.
This vehicle is very accessible. That appeals to me, and it will be especially welcome to my grandchildren. There are many larger trucks out there and I have owned a few. That helps me to appreciate more room, lower lifting and loading heights, and doubling my fuel economy. If it starts every...
I thank the OP and others for noting defects in their trucks. Most of us do not expect perfection, but letting Ford and other buyers know about these things is an important part of product improvement. Pooling our experience, quality information and workaround info is what makes a forum such an...
My tire guy tells me that defects in OEM wheels are not uncommon. The crack may have been found when the tire failed to maintain air pressure. Railroads use "dingers" to check for cracks in steel wheels. At any rate it speaks well of the dealer or Ford to replace with wheels from another lot...
I expect Ford to raise prices, because costs of materials and labor are rising, and Ford cannot meet current demand. If there are many requests for something simple, such as hard points for roof racks, those may be offered standalone or bundled with new "overlanding" package. Making wiring...
Going back to the legacy aspect, one of Ford's biggest wins was the 1964 Mustang that was based on the cheap Comet or Falcon unibody platform. Who imagined where that would lead?
Once we have some time with our Mavericks, we will start to hear more about changes to make them more useful such as...
The Maverick is a link to the Model T in terms of heritage. It wasn't the prettiest, fastest or cushiest, but it enabled many to drive who could not otherwise afford it. It also delivered amazing value for the money, and was adapted to meet people's needs in a mind boggling variety of ways...
I ordered an xlt 2.0 awd with lux on Dec 20. I received a confirmation from Ford Motor Company within 24 hrs. I heard nothing else until Feb 3, when I received an email that the vehicle is scheduled for production in the week of Mar 29. This notice also contained the VIN of the vehicle.

Age 70. This is light truck country. I was taught to drive an early 50s International with 3 on the tree, then owned a 68 GMC heavy half ton, K5 Blazer 4 spd, '83 Ranger 5 spd, '97 F-150 auto, '96 Tacoma 5 spd and 2006 Tundra, all 4x4. Tired of paying for heavy metal features I don't use.
