  1. FORUM RANT

good to know. another unnecessary thread is a common thing here,
  2. Heating/Cooling satisfactory in Maverick?

works like a charm, only downside in my opinion is. when the cab isnt warm enough the auto/start stop function is limited and will not work until the desired cab temperature is achieved. *normal function of start/stop* just a little annoying.
  3. Getting real tired of the $20k truck argument. ..rant

i really like this thread. I literally made a rant post and saw this, good to see other people are annoyed.
  4. FORUM RANT

Hello all, I first joined this forum in dec.21, I knew this forum existed earlier but only joinned after I got a Maverick. First of, I mean no offense to those who will get offended but stop your complaining. This is a rant, if you dont like what im writing, then you can simply leave this...
  5. LED strip bed lighting installed

If you were to cut them, the waterproof seal is no longer good.
  6. Driveline Vibration Under Deceleration Around 10 - 30 mph

Haha I wouldn’t doubt this, I work for Audi and we have a recall to place Foam in the unibody rails where the fuel lines run due to excessive shaking from fuel lines during idle. I noticed my maverick has kinda of the same noise intermittently but nothing as severe as the Audi Q3. Can literally...
  7. FALKEN Wildpeak Trail A/T Snow Review

I wanted to get BFG trail terrains but they are not sold in Canada OnTrio
  8. FALKEN Wildpeak Trail A/T Snow Review

The Wildpeak Trail isn’t a full A/T tire, it’s not thick spaced out blocks, it’s a compromise of A/T design but the center treads have been designed for normal roads and still provide enough siphoning for snow and dirt. It’s a hybrid if I had to classify it. Plus I go up to Muskoka and Algonquin...
  9. FALKEN Wildpeak Trail A/T Snow Review

Nokian is a great brand especially winter tires. At the same time, you can’t really compare the performance of a pure winter tire like the R3 SUV’s. They’re literally designed solely for winter, compound and design are very different compared to a A/T tire that’s designed to focused on multiple...
  10. 12 month oil change!!!

The intelligent oil info is quite smart nowadays. It takes into factor, idle time, temperatures, load, and driving habits. In the owners manual it indicates that depending on your driving habits, they recommend different intervals, I’d stick to the what the indicator tells you. But if you don’t...
  11. FALKEN Wildpeak Trail A/T Snow Review

Yup I know. Good rule of thumb is keep it under 5% as most AWD systems tolerate anything under 5%. I’m a licensed mechanic, been modifying cars many years. It’s a pickup, don’t really speed in it, I try to be as fuel efficient as I can be. I drive in eco mode 95% of the time. I save the...
  12. FALKEN Wildpeak Trail A/T Snow Review

You’d be surprised, most cars that day errr stuck on the road. Major road closures and etc. pretty much the city shut down. Fresh snow so plowing thru problem, if it was a few days old. Probably break lower chin spoiler and undertray
  13. LED strip bed lighting installed

should still be able to squeeze thru, the grommet is recessed a little so should have no problems with the sliding rail system. I plan on DIY rail system in spring. Too cold atm
  14. LED strip bed lighting installed

They are extremely bright. Super happy with the LED quality, hopefully they last. Mainly worried about winter but currently they’re holding up good, the 3M tape that we’re attached to the LED are pretty good quality too, so that’s a bonus
  15. Pre collision alert not working?

I got it to work by literally driving up to a parked vehicle on the side, the alert came on. But I have the settings at low, gotta have balls to test the system. Don’t recommend trying it
  16. FALKEN Wildpeak Trail A/T Snow Review

RSSW Faith. 17x8 +40. I picked up used for roughly 300$ CDN. Was a good deal
  17. FALKEN Wildpeak Trail A/T Snow Review

My good friend has a performance store, so he got me them pretty much at cost, plus the $80 rebate . If you’re located in toronto I can refer you.
  18. FALKEN Wildpeak Trail A/T Snow Review

The difference is so minor that it doesn’t even bother me, as long as I get a estimate I’m happy with the results
  19. 10" wide screen

People gotta realize. The Maverick is a new segment. It’s the first of its model. no engineer or marketing team would give you all the amazing things initially. There always has to be room for improvement. The fact The maverick is SYNC3 justifies the 8” over 10”. In time a new interface will be...
  20. LED strip bed lighting installed

Got them from Amazon, was $39.99 CDN. Not USD. Make sure you get strips that are protected well. These strips had a thick protective rubber encasing the LED from water
