I know there is a way to reset the system. In the manual it says to press two buttons at the same time until it resets. I have had to do this 3 times in the last 9 months. Audio comes right back but I notice the system in general exhibits quite a bit of lag.

i believe they make a convex and flat version where the image is not distorted. I have the latter and it is honestly great. No complaints as my field of view/image quality is increased a good amount.
