Looking forward to a comparison in light pattern and output over the stock headlights. Still, I wish the DRLs were amber but I guess vinyl is an option.
Thatās incredibly helpful, @Chris25James, thank you! Out of the two currently known options, I think I like the Cobb just for simplicity, but the more I read about HPT it seems like there might be a bit more flexibility. I will keep digging and email Livernois for clarification as well. Thanks...
Necrobump - How? I swapped paddles into my '22 and without a proper manual mode it's next to useless. I only ever really use them to get it to stop lugging up a slight incline. If I get a Livernois tuner, would they be able to get it working? Or should I stick to Cobb?
I wish they didnāt have the ridiculous start up animation that we canāt disable, apparently. Kind of a bummer because the rest of the design is extremely well done.
I bought mine when I was 30. I got it because it could haul my bikes and range gear better than my GTI, and got better fuel economy than my 4Runner. I think this truck has a lot to offer for younger buyers due to its price and versatility, but people in my generation view trucks as excessive and...
If the beam pattern on these is even marginally better than the factory headlights, Iām buying them. Light output and coverage is dismal - there is zero light being thrown to the sides, so making a sharp turn in the dark at low speeds is genuinely hazardous. I added Diode Dynamic fog lights to...
Earlier in this thread, I posted about how my '22 FX4 4K got something like 18mpg driven like a grandma with a fishbowl on the dash. A year later, and I am getting -- drumroll -- 21 mpg. The truck is paid off, which lessens the sting, but I can't help but feel like I got a dud compared to some...
Thatās a good idea - I hadnāt considered that. Iāll give it a shot, but if other people are able to return or 30s driving normally, Iām not sure itās going to make a notable impact. Based off of my experience and the years of troubleshooting and comparing MPGs with other people, I think...
Yeah, depending on how committed I am on any given tank to hypermiling, I can see one or two MPG difference, but I am talking ācruise control speed adjustments at 1mph incrementsā kind of driving and going under the speed limit. If I tried any harder Iād be a liability on the road. Itās...
ā22 FX4 4k with about 25,000 miles. Over the life of the truck, I have struggled to break 20mpg average. Itās usually in the teens, sometimes as low as 16. I have it in eco mode, drive with cruise control, keep my tonneau closed, AC off, etc. The only thing that I think could contribute to this...
The speakers for these alerts are jarring for rear passengers (and myself) as the speaker is a few inches away from their ear. I know itās not present in vehicle settings, but has anyone figured out a way to adjust the volume with forscan?
@COBB Tuning Thanks for being available to answer questions in this thread! I have a couple of my own before I pull the trigger on an AP.
1: I recently installed paddle shifters from a bronco sport, allowing me limited control over the gearbox. Will the transmission tune play nicely with this...
