I just purchased Infinity REF-6532IX for the front and Infinity REF-6432CFX 4x6's for the rear. Stage one nearly complete. After installing the speakers I'll re-visit whether I need a sub to be happy with the sound. Thanks for the assistance.

I just tried setting it to "driver" and it seems to improve the upper midrange a bit. Think I'm going to bite the bullet and reach for my wallet to start upgrading the speakers. I'm too used to my Mustang's Shaker system.

Does the Maverick have a crossover for the front speakers in the XL or is the entire frequency spectrum sent to the door drivers and dash tweeters? Trying to determine how to approach getting a little better sound in the vehicle.
