I'm a former Forester owner. It was a '98 Gen 1 that I quite literally drove into the ground (parts were falling off). I've already got my Maverick order in. I don't care for Subaru's current offerings. They're pushing more upmarket than my taste or budget.

All I know is my back of the napkin calculations on how much in gas we'll save per year was enough to convince my accountant wife that it'd be an excellent replacement for our Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's at least $10K saved in just gas over five years ($2k a year at current rate of millage). Sure...

I've been looking at diy trailers to mount a rooftop tent to. Seems like an excellent option for the Maverick Hybrid.

I know I'm going to walk up to the wrong Area 51 Maverick at some point in some random parking lot, but my better half and I agreed on the color immediately without debate which makes having a common color worth it for me.
