  1. Sentry vs Pro x15 tonneau?

I have the X15 on my maverick and it’s been great. I had a minor issue installing because the tailgate rubber flap ended up inside the tailgate, rather than on top, but after a few calls with customer support they determined that the installation was right and it was their instructions that...
  2. Massachusetts Window Tint % Limits

Agreed - it’s so dumb. I wish the manufacturers would just stop producing vehicles with blacked out rear windows so end users could decide how dark to go, and be able to get consistent tint around the vehicle
  3. Massachusetts Window Tint % Limits

It’s hard to get good pictures of tint because the transprency looks completely different depending on reflections and background, but here is a before (at the tint shop) and after (parked on the street)
  4. Massachusetts Window Tint % Limits

Hi all, I'm in the Boston area, where the state limit is 35% for tint (and they check it when during inspections). I recently did a ceramic 35% tint on the fronts only, which ended up showing up at 33% VLT on the meter, due to the slight tint in the existing glass. The installer said that...
  5. Front speaker cover feels very cheap on my lariat

I have the same thing on my lariat
  6. Random honks

I’ll check it out as well
  7. Random honks

I’m having the same issue with my Lariat EB. I can’t seem to replicate it, but occasionally I get a double honk when getting out of the truck. It will happen regardless of whether the vehicle is on or off when the door opens. I haven’t tried anything w the phone/CarPlay yet - could that be...
  8. Debating upgrading the tires to Falken Wildpeak, A/T Trail vs A/T3W, 225/65R17 vs 235/65R17

I was debating the wildpeak trails vs at/3 in 235/65/17. I ended up with the trails and they’ve been great this winter in the snow and ice. one thing I did learn in my research is that the at/3 in 235/65/17 is a watered down version of the tire that wasmade specifically for ford with economy...
  9. Door locks have a mind of their own?

Glad it’s not just me… clearly it’s a design flaw:)
  10. Truxedo Pro X15 tonneau cover installed

Are you able to close the cover with the tailgate up? or does it have to be down to latch?
  11. Truxedo Pro X15 tonneau cover installed

I spent some time on the phone with truxedo, and the takeaways are: - they Changed the designed recently, but the plastic extension caps on the rails are the latest version. - I was able to install the header bar and get the cover to latch, but only with the tailgate down - their engineer...
  12. TuxMat - better than Weathertech, Husky + OEM?

I've only had them for a couple weeks, but no complaints yet. When I installed them it was ~ 8 degrees F out, and the mats been sitting outside so they were pretty stiff. there were a couple spots where the mat wasn't sitting tight up against the plastic trim, so I put on a clip to pull it...
  13. Fx4 package is a must on snow

I'm with you 100% I went with FX4 for the look of the tow hooks. Anyone who lives in a snowy climate knows that tires matter the most... AWD helps with acceleration, but does nothing for handling and braking. Case and point would be my wife and our Kia Telluride this morning.... on the way...
  14. Door locks have a mind of their own?

I think I diagnosed the issue, which was user error. As the manual door lock toggle switch is right night to the door lever, I think I may have pushed the door lock with my hand as I pulled the handle and pushed to open the door.... I just tested it and sure enough I was able to lock the door...
  15. Door locks have a mind of their own?

Thank you - just messaged you
  16. Door locks have a mind of their own?

Just one Fob. Do you think it's related to the auto lock touch system on the door handle, and the system thinking the fob is outside when exiting, but not recognizing it when trying to get back in?
  17. Door lock problems?

I just posted another thread with something similar and then found this. Twice now I've had the truck lock with the keys inside when I got out to refuel or do something... once with the engine running and once without. I hadn't been able to reproduce it, but perhaps this is why
  18. Door locks have a mind of their own?

This has happened twice now in the last couple weeks on my Lariat and I haven't been able to reproduce it, but wondering if anyone has had a similar issue? Or if there's something specific I might be doing wrong? First instance: I stopped at a gas station, turned off the (pushbutton)...
