There is NO idle speed!!! Only various RPMs of OPERATIONAL RPMs, dependent on need. "Idle" literally means that - engine OFF.

You need not be concerned whatsoever. The computer takes care of it. It is such a tiny battery, at any given moment, it could have any state of charge level (i.e. constantly going up & down). The ICE engine comes on as needed all automatic!
