Good day all, after having a conversation with the marketing people at decked it has become clear they are considering a drawer system for the Mav but are looking for interest from the community.
If everyone could go and let them know we are interested in the system I would really appreciate it...
Airport ford has always been good to me. when the ranger was coming they let me crawl through a pre production model and take alot of photos. the staff was nice and never once did i get a sales pitch to buy.
having the opportunity to drive both a Bronco sport badlands (cousins) and my FX4 4k in similar shity conditions on the farm and acreage i would say that the dual clutch isn't very necessary over the rear end in mav. neither vehicle gets stuck and at the end of the day if you need to tow I would...
Yeah I guess it really depends what else you drive, I've spent to much time in super duty trucks and the mav feels very small to me when driving and siting in it. But I love it all the same
I have to say i was skeptical about the truck ability of the rig but after 5 trips to the farm for falling and splitting the hardwood, I trucked it all back about 2 hours from house to farm and the truck has been amazing. It really can truck.
Also if you make it back to NS I recommend early...
I ordered my VB XLT FX4 at the end of July and received it Nov 1, I have put 3500 km on it, driving in rural NS and this little mini truck can get it done.
I have moved an untold amount of wood already and taken the wife, kid and dog around in it everywhere. It's a great little rig with lots of...
As a Canadian I think you can be proud of your country and service, be proud to show both.
We all know political parties and politicians on all sides are liars and assholes.
I think a sticker for service and country are fine. Show your pride in what you love and what matters to you.
The answer is they are there as locking point in systems that have a plunge lock in them. These I've seen.
It has also been suggested to me that it has to do with the way electrical current flows and the gap "may" help with connecting flow. I dont know about this one its beyond me.
But the...
Hi Canadian here and I have had ice and snow already and the AWD is great in it.
Stock tires suck. But with good shoes and slippery/wet mode truck is confident enough for me.
Eastern Canadian here, and it is my opinion that unless you live deep in one of the big southern cities, TO. VAN. you will be better off with the awd mainly for road security. From a stats point in Canada you are more likely to get in winter accident if you dont have 4x4 or AWD.
That said if I...
Canadian here I live in the north and with the snow I've had already I found the rear window doesn't get snowed badly and the truck heats up so quick you dobt even think about it. Also if you live in a cold climate the AWD is the smarter choice. I am getting great mileage a par with the wife's...
XLT,FX4, 4K.
after filling tank and drivin a 600km round trip and filling again I did the math and was getting 8.8 L/100km.
That's roughly 27 MPG.
Truck had about a 800 lbs in total carry weight
