would the Napier bed tent still work if you had a plywood sub floor sitting on top of the wheel wheels? Other than extra material in the bed would there be any pitfalls to doing this? I would open up a lot of extra storage this way but at what expense?

My DIBL installed at factory on XLT Lux Hybrid does not have cut outo on the side panels For 12v ports. I looked at a used XLT on the lot and its DIBL has beveled openings for the 12v acc plug on both side. I am going to have dealer remove side panels and check if the cutouts are there, but...
