Just heard from a local dealer that all of their in stock hybrids will have a $5k markup. Not sure if that’s negotiable or not, it definitely a bummer.

Just saw my first one tonight zooming past at about 90 or so. Couldn’t tell if it was Iconic Silver or Area 51 but it looked fantastic.

Some great numbers here, really impressed. Was 100% on board with getting a hybrid, but with the the reality of actually getting one being nil, and the fact that these mpgs are even better than my Nissan, the turbo might be the way to go.

It’s a really classy, deep fantastic color and was my initial first choice, especially when I was looking at the bronco sport before the Mav was announced. But now I’m leaning toward Velocity, it just looks like a classic blue Ford truck like my grandpa used to drive on the farm.

Yeah, think I would have preferred Lightning Blue but Velocity is pretty great too.

Looks like a classic old blue truck like my farmer grandfather used to work with. Down to this and alto blue for me.

When I was looking into the Bronco sport, Area 51 was my first color choice, such a unique color. It looks great too with all the black trim around the wheel wells and the black areas around the windows. But on the maverick all that black contrast is missing and A51 loses something for me.

Really wish there was a two door option with longer bed. Have zero need for a crew cab, although I can accept it. Had been looking at a supercab ranger for the longest time, but price was a real turn off, not to mention its even bigger than my dads old F150.

My concern about the hybrid is less about reliability and more about that low torque number. But, I’m assuming that the “always there” torque of the electric motor makes up for that. Can’t wait to give one of these things a test drive!

I’m on the fence as well. I don’t know much about hybrids, but at a glance the hp and torque numbers seem pretty weak for a truck with 191 and 150. Not a criticism really, more of a concern. Are those stats strong enough to move a truck of this size, especially if I did happen to have 1500 lbs...
