Here’s a mount I’ve been working on. A mixture of a 3d printed insert and some pieces of a mount found on Amazon for cheap.

I’ve had it for months now and it has held up nicely to harsh driving.
I thought I'd share the magsafe mount I've been working on.
So far, it's a friction fit within the cubby and no adhesive or velcro is being used. The insert has a weird spiral shape to it that was initially a mistake that I made while modeling it, and I thought it looked cool enough to print...
The irony here. No need to act all high and mighty if you've done the exact thing that you're criticizing. Besides, it's very possible you could've screwed something up. Plenty of people using these units without issue.
I've slept on it all, from ultralight pads to coleman air mattresses and I will recommend the Hest pad to anybody outside of backpacking. This thing is very comfortable to me as a side sleeper and I'm just using the foam portion (can be purchased as a system with an inflatable pad as the base...
This is awesome work. Related to windows, but not global, do you think it's possible to investigate the one touch down command (not explicitly asking for you to do it, I guess I'm asking if you think it's legitimately possible)? For my xlt, my driver has one touch down but not up, I'm unsure how...
Ironically today, I saw this little screen on adafruit and was thinking it would be cool to fit it in the cubby.

Do you think there’s a way to add the down functionality to a window up module? I just began my research for this, but I was initially thinking of doing this with something like a raspberry pi. Maybe just something that spoofs a window down press for a duration of time, or maybe until the motor...
Ahh this explains the nice drawing. I bet this is pretty fun for you, taking a small break from architecture and applying your techniques to a vehicle. I myself dabble in technical design and modeling for my work so I use solidworks. I’m still quite new though, so I haven’t explored the...
This is great. I’ve been wanting to model up the bed for myself as well just to mess around with different ideas, but I can’t find the dimensions for the actual body of the bed (thickness of the walls, etc). Yours here seem relatively accurate, is this true? If so, could you share those...
