Today took advantage of Fordās amazing incentives and traded in my much loved Maverick.
Our 22 Hybrid w/ Lux pkg + moonroof and slide rear window was easily one of the most enjoyable vehicles Iāve ever owned.
traded in a minivan too that was a little upside down on loan so my final numbers...
I fell in love with our hybrid maverick. Itās still one of the best vehicles that Iāve owned for so many reasons. Drive it daily. Even on BFG Trail Terrains (factory size) we still get 42-47mpg in town! 30s all day on interstate. Canāt say enough positives for the Maverick. BUTā¦
still, I was...
Well, almost. I was learning how to fly my drone and attempted to make a video of the fall leaves changing here in Colorado. Turns out we were a bit too early and my video turned into somewhat of an unofficial Maverick commercial, lol.
This is not intended to be a serious production, but if...
BFGoodrich (currently $120 off 4 at Discount Tire) TrailTerrains 225/65/17 (stock size) on our Maverick Hybrid.
Havenāt driven it enough to see any MPG declineā¦ but Iām watching.
steering is a bit softer, taking a bit more effort. Nothing bad though itās just noticeable and to be expected...
Got a bit lost in the mountains of north Colorado on a fire road but the hybrid maverick (and stock tires) REALLY impressed me.
and prior to this, we had a FX4 Maverick so I feel like I can gauge the differences.
I can say with certainty, the hybrid is going to be perfectly fine for 95% of you...
Have an EcoBoost AWD FX4 but couldnāt resist itās hybrid brother at the dealership (that I originally ordered almost a year ago lol).
If youāre still decidingā¦. Go for the hybrid!
complaints - the spray in bed liner was much nicer than the drop-in they switched to. Also, the Lariat/FX4...
Iām sorry if this is covered already but if anyone has their 2Ā¢ for replacing tires on the hybrid to something more A/T styleā¦
Iām thinking of BFG TrailTerrains which we have on our FX4 and love-
Iām mainly concerned with how much the fuel economy on hybrid suffers from not so eco-friendly...
I ordered a XLT Hybrid almost approx. 1 year ago! It will finally be delivered this week. I never canceled my order. To my surprise the dealership called me to see if I still wanted to pick it up!
Meanwhile, with much luck, I snagged a Maverick back in December 20ā - a Hot-Pepper Red, FX4...
Our beautiful shiny red Tesla Model Y has been garaged lol. Thatās right- Sidelined, benched- even with unprecedented prices of gas.
Thatās how much Iām enjoying our Maverick. I drive it around every day. Ravaging Craigslist for furniture we donāt need so I can use the maverick to haul it...
I may be one of the few who enjoys the auto stop/start feature but since our older F150 didnāt have it, the Maverick is my first vehicle that does.
That said, some days it works great and turns off the engine at almost every light. Other days it never will turn off the engine. Is that normal...
Sharing some thoughts on our Maverick after our road trip if anyone cares to read them...
First off -THANK YOU to our professional truck driver's out on the road delivering everything imaginable across the country, especially right now. You can't appreciate their work until you're on the road...
Does anyone know if you can somehow program the Maverick so the headlights come on when you unlock the vehicle? Our F150 did and I really miss that feature. All I get are the amber parking/turn signals illuminated.
I like to carry a small fire extinguisher in my truckā¦ you never know when youāll come across a broken down smoking Santa Cruzā¦
where is the best place on the maverick to keep one? I was thinking in the bedās side cubby storage area? Under the seat (lifting the seat up in a true emergency if...
Iām 6ā1.
Front seats are in ācomfortable for 6ā1ā position lol.
Hope this helps some of you looking at car seats for the Maverick or you have your priorities straight and are looking at the Maverick for the car seats š
Snug fit on both but both fit with LATCH just fine. The 4Ever seat is in...
Hi all
I have the EcoBoost Maverick. I have noticed twice now after I get home and park, there is steam coming out from the hood. Itās similar to if you pull into a car wash and the water hits your hot engine and it steams. Is this normal? Iāve never had an EB engine, only a Triton in our F150...
Just a note on Maverickās hill descent:
I Found myself on a compacted but muddy dirt road in northern CO so I put our FX4 Mav into mud/ruts. I ended up turning around as I was just out enjoying a drive & checking out some property I found for sale. Anyway, the off road screen was registering a...
After purchasing a 2020 Escape AWD Hybrid and now a 2022 Maverick, I used most of my 88K FordPass points and ordered a tonneau cover at $0 cost to me (except buying two new vehicles lol)
these really need to be about an inch longer. I donāt know who measured these to manufacture them, but I...
