While I appreciate the follow ups confirming that Granger and Flood are legitimate, I would like to point out that you guys are quoting me from 2022 😂 I purchased through Granger and have been happy for the past 2.5 years.
I started getting this exact issue as well. Similar to the above poster, I’m dubious that it’s normal since it just started for me last week and I’ve owned this truck for over 2 years now.
Would be interested if anyone else has experienced it and/or know the cause.
You updated your post since my original response, so wanted to reply again, but the maintenance plan is more than just tire rotation and oil change, fwiw. It includes:
Engine oil and filter changes
Multi-point inspections
Tire rotations
Brake pads and linings
Shock absorbers/struts
Spark plugs...
Oh yeah, no kidding. Unfortunately, this is literally my very first new vehicle, so I was a bit unprepared for pricing. Fortunately, I knew that the contracts could be cancelled and it gave me time to look over them and research after the fact.
Yeah, I'm looking at the Premium 10 year, 100,000, which Flood is listing for $1,680 and the 10 year, 100,000 Full Synthetic maintenance plan, which Flood is listing for $1,720. What I was sold was $4,455 and $2,870, respectively, which is why even the sales guy was like "if I can't figure out...
I'm not going to go so far as to say the guy I was working with lied. When I went back to the dealer with all my paperwork and the quotes from Flood and Granger, he looked over everything and seemed legitimately confused, turned his screen towards me and walked me through the steps of pulling up...
I just picked up my Maverick and got service protection plans through my local dealer. Later while researching the various conditions and all, I came across mentions of Flood Ford and Granger and their offerings, which were considerably lower than what I paid (about $4k lower total).
I went...
This is all hilariously sad (for me). 6/9 order. Mine still has never even gotten a VIN or build date. I gave up at the 1 year mark and am going to be getting as refund on my deposit.
I've honestly become so disillusioned with this whole debacle now that I've been mentally ranking other potential vehicles. I already know that there are several other manufacturers that I can literally reach out to a dealer right now and snag one that is coming in at MSRP, while with Ford I am...
So I'm a bit unsure of what my course of action should be here. I've yet to be contacted by my dealer about anything, but I've also yet to be given a scheduled build by Ford for my order that was placed on June 9th.
Velocity Blue XLT Hybrid with Co-Pilot 360 and Lux Package.
I would hope...
June 6th here. I've heard nothing either. Fingers crossed, but I've gotten to a point where I'm just like "when it happens, it happens." I'll be hopeful to get mine before June 6th of next year, at least.
Ordered on June 9th, XLT Lux Hybrid with moon roof. Honestly not sure what is going on. My dealer contact told me that they've had 10 slots for production at their dealer, and thus far Ford has not pulled any of them. 🤷♂️
34 years old. This will be my first truck, I've always generally been a car guy, then bought a house and realized how many things won't fit in a midsize and are wider than 4'. I've been thinking of a truck for a while, but also wanted something that was general decent on gas. Heard about the...
