I've had our Maverick 3 months shy of two years now, have just under 13,000 kms on it now, and half that time on different rims and snow tires. Was just detailing the OEM Continental tires, noted depressions on the sidewalls on two tires. I don't think this a safety issue, and wonder if a dealer...
I found some inexpensive 17" hubcaps for the steelie rims and winter tires, not too bad looking! Seem to be very decent quality too, got 'em on sale at Amazon:

Seems as you get into larger wheel sizes...
Just thought I'd chime in with a short review and a few pics. Today is a full year ownership. I was lucky enough to snag one of the very first Mavericks to arrive up here in Winnipeg. I phoned around for availability at just the right time, as dealer received one more than expected, so not...
I'm all for bypassing stealerships, ordering a vehicle, guaranteed MSRP pricing, no upselling or price gouging:

I ordered that yesterday, put a $20 deposit down as it's backordered, no idea if and when I get it. I like to do the tailgate cooking thing, want to protect...

The next occasion was much more...

Winter fell on our heads up here in the north, had a good dump of snow. One of the things I noted pretty quickly after buying the truck, was how deeply sunken underneath the hood the windshield wipers are. Great for streamlining/drag reduction, but snow & ice accumulate in there. Snow slides...
I have an XLT Maverick that I recently bought. I phoned the dealer asking about steel rims for winter tires.
I gave them P/N NZ6Z-1015-A (part number for the factory steel wheels). My dealer told me not available yet. I checked our local Canadian Tire store, and they don't have the Maverick...
