Except I don't live in the city. The majority of my driving is highway at speeds of 55 or higher. I want to see real world 40 + on the highway. Then I'll get excited. Is it better than my Mustang ? Sure. Geeze, it's a 5.0. Still going to sit out the first year. Ford always makes interesting...
Real world ................ I wanna see real, driven on the street numbers ! Those are what I will trust and look at before deciding on what to buy powertrain wise.
After watching some dude in a Civic navigate the old Borax trail in Death Valley several years ago, I decided right then and there, I needed my AWD Explorer like I need my ex wife back. ;) 🤣
Mine will be FWD. I want the highway fuel mileage. I do not foresee fuel costs going down. I do not tow anything heavy. Once a year my zero turn mower to the shop for service in the spring.
I sure hope things are out of the woods next year at this time. In fact,I hope I'm here at this time next year. Wife just bought a new frying pan at Penny's. 🤣
I would imagine it is computer controlled. My Mustang does the same. Never bothered to see at what speed it goes off as I'm watching what's in front of me at that point. Especially at Kroger. Way to many with a phone in their face.
Just hope I can use my D plan when the time comes. I have family that works for them. I'm planning on buying next year or the year after. I want to see what changes Ford makes the second year.
That would be very popular in certain areas of Dallas, Houston or, San Antonio. It does need illuminated running boards though ................ Jus say'n.
On the rear, they mount at the front of the fender well. That is where all the small stones caught in the tire tread get thrown as the tire rotates. Unless, you are one of the few that drives in reverse all the time. ;)
