You can see it from the ISS .................... 🤣
  2. 📡 Official Release: 42 MPG CITY for the 2022 Maverick Hybrid!

Except I don't live in the city. The majority of my driving is highway at speeds of 55 or higher. I want to see real world 40 + on the highway. Then I'll get excited. Is it better than my Mustang ? Sure. Geeze, it's a 5.0. Still going to sit out the first year. Ford always makes interesting...
  3. 🚨My Hybrid Maverick window sticker with MPG!! 37 combined / 42 city / 33 highway

My thought exactly. If that's the case, why bother with the hybrid ? I've got to drive 20 some miles just to get groceries and gas.
  4. 🚨My Hybrid Maverick window sticker with MPG!! 37 combined / 42 city / 33 highway

Real world ................ I wanna see real, driven on the street numbers ! Those are what I will trust and look at before deciding on what to buy powertrain wise.
  5. Did you pick FWD or AWD Maverick and why?

After watching some dude in a Civic navigate the old Borax trail in Death Valley several years ago, I decided right then and there, I needed my AWD Explorer like I need my ex wife back. ;) 🤣
  6. Did you pick FWD or AWD Maverick and why?

Mine will be FWD. I want the highway fuel mileage. I do not foresee fuel costs going down. I do not tow anything heavy. Once a year my zero turn mower to the shop for service in the spring.
  7. Conflicting Plant Restrictions ... What does that mean?

I sure hope things are out of the woods next year at this time. In fact,I hope I'm here at this time next year. Wife just bought a new frying pan at Penny's. 🤣
  8. 1227.7 Miles - An Unbiased Maverick Lariat Owner's Review

I would imagine it is computer controlled. My Mustang does the same. Never bothered to see at what speed it goes off as I'm watching what's in front of me at that point. Especially at Kroger. Way to many with a phone in their face.
  9. 1227.7 Miles - An Unbiased Maverick Lariat Owner's Review

Those are great bulbs. I've used them in other Fords.
  10. Not "Boomer" friendly... no Sirius XM, no CD player

:D You have better eyes than I do. I did not catch that on the build web site. We have many HD stations where I am. Who needs XM ? ;)
  11. Not "Boomer" friendly... no Sirius XM, no CD player

Great in a street fight they were. Almost as good as brass knuckles. ;)
  12. Not "Boomer" friendly... no Sirius XM, no CD player

I am surprised there is no HD radio in the Lariat with the lux pkg. It will be missed.
  13. Dealer allotments in the DFW area question.

Just hope I can use my D plan when the time comes. I have family that works for them. I'm planning on buying next year or the year after. I want to see what changes Ford makes the second year.
  14. Interactive Garage now has Maverick for virtual modding / customizing

That would be very popular in certain areas of Dallas, Houston or, San Antonio. It does need illuminated running boards though ................ Jus say'n.
  15. Interactive Garage now has Maverick for virtual modding / customizing

On the rear, they mount at the front of the fender well. That is where all the small stones caught in the tire tread get thrown as the tire rotates. Unless, you are one of the few that drives in reverse all the time. ;)
