This is working out pretty well! Never thought I'd appreciate slower moving traffic, but it works out great going around 50-65mph on my commute home.

Thank you all for the tips and tricks on how to improve my gas mileage! With around 80% highway driving these past 3 commutes, I've been able to get into the 40's!! Much better than my last tank at 26MPG. I'm going to continue being conservative with my driving and hopefully I'll be close to...

Spot on. I used to track/autocross my crx’s/Miata’s so I’m new to this hybrid/efficient driving! I took a few steps today on my commute home and got this. 26mpg with lots of smiles per gallon isn’t too bad. It was quite fun TRYING to max out my mpg too.

I've been able to get it running on electric under 25mph, but I haven't noticed full electric above those speeds. I'll be more attentive.

I'll blame it on my long legs... I freely received 26mpg, now I will seek better mpg... I guess what could have done me in with this tank was the fact that I realized how quick this little hybrid is when giving it a little push....

I like keeping it on normal mode, I don't like the forced sluggish response of eco mode.

Another warmer climate mpg win. I did notice how if you apply too much accelerator pedal input, it would then turn on the gas engine at lower speeds. Seems like the big factor for me though are the remote starts and cold temps currently.
