I drove a FWD car in Michigan's upper peninsula for four years. Snow tires are a lot more important than AWD.

So I placed a deposit and order at the dealer and told them I have the X-plan. Their response was that when it came time to pay the X-plan would be factored in, but it didn't matter for ordering. They speculated it would save me about $1k. Did I get hosed, or is that actually the case?

I never got that email, in fact I don't remember the dealer even taking my email. Should I be concerned about that? They have my number and I have the receipt though.

That is my understanding, but some people in this forum have already placed orders for specific specs with $1,000 deposits.

I called dealers around my area and they have zero information on ordering and said they probably won't know until the end of the month, but I see some posts on here of people already having ordered. What's going on? I would think dealers would be on the same page here?
