I've decided to move on and not pursue a Maverick. The vehicle was too much of a compromise for me from dealer to delivery.
I'll keep my Chevrolet work truck for now as it's been a pillar of reliability. I'm looking at the new Nissan Frontier though, once they arrive
on dealer lots and I get a...
So what vehicle was available in a Pick-up, 2-door sedan, 4-door sedan, Station Wagon & Sedan Delivery? Why a Ford of course, on top of that, it was unitized construction. At my age, I've known better to never say never, history has been known to repeat itself.:giggle::coffee:
Because other than the CC, I do not want anything that is added w/ the XLT. The Rastra unit will be approximately $300-350. I've had one on another truck, it worked fine.
That's a tough dimension to acquire. AFAIK the manufacturers don't release this. The dimension from tailgate to ground with gate down is 30.5". In looking at the proportions and that neither side steps nor running boards are shown in the accessory catalog, It's my guess the climb in height is...
I think a 2 door extended cab version would be great and would actually provide closer to 5.5' in closed gate room. I buy a truck to haul things, if I want room for people, I'll take my Wife's Outback. I recently checked out a new Ranger Ext. Cab and that 6' box looked awfully nice....;)
The lighting in this garage is going to throw off the color a bit. I just saw this color on a Bronco Sport, outside on a partly sunny day and it looks really nice, a lot nicer than I initially anticipated. It has subtle undertones of green, kinda like a Pistachio, creamy and rich.
I still have some of the old 303 before the company was sold. I can't speak for the new stuff although the older product was the best I've used. I actually use it on the vinyl shutters on my house.....every 6-7 years. Shutters still look like new and were installed 20 years ago.
Don't forget the premium fuel recommendation for the 2.0 which should provide optimal mpg figures. That said, you also need to do the math for a premium vs regular fuel, total outlay over a year to determine your cost to drive.
As the Extang Trifecta was on the truck when purchased w/ 10K on it (5) years ago, I'm assuming it was the original Trifecta version or 1.0. It folds up and straps hold it at the front of bed. There are (4) spring loaded clamps which hold it in place. Less than (4) minuted to remove it...
I feel a body in the front with height, weight and inseam would provide valuable information. A picture of this person in place would indicate the lower cushion's length, thigh support and knee to hip articulation., both critical in determining expected comfort.
As I plan on gutting the rear...
While I agree, if it wasn't for companies like Rastra, IMO, Ford would be losing a lot of XL sales due to not offering CC as standard or as a option. Years ago I think the manufacturers blew off the aftermarket, they now seem to realize the profits in accessories rather than just giving it away...
Yep, my Son owed (2) of them and the vehicle is very versatile, he is a avid hunter, said the size of the Element allowed him to get down into areas a full size truck could not. He could put a downed deer in the back on a tarp and just wipe everything down when he made it home. I've heard...
I wondered about that too, although it was the Regular cab w/ no extension that was axed due to the formula. Toyota, Nissan, GM & Ford all continued to make 2 door ext. cabs in their small or mid-sized trucks w/o penalty. It would be interesting to plug the numbers in for a ext. cab Maverick and...
Sometimes what the manufacturer wants doesn't always come to fruition. The Honda Element was suppose to be the whole young people's, active life style vehicle, all I see is older folks and pooches inside. The Honda and Toyota mini van thing seemed to drift to older people looking for a easy to...
