Another great idea! I do have an assortment of these in my garage. Is it just the push clips that fasten the flares or does it have 2 sided tape also? I have a lift in my garage so the install should go nicely.

It is certainly something to look into. The last thing you need is an engine cooling problem and getting denied warranty repairs because you caused it by installing an engine cover. Because it is used on the Escape doesn't mean the ambient cooling of the engine compartment on the Maverick is...

It probably cuts down on a lot of valve train and fuel injector pulse noise too! That's the purpose of a lot of engine covers on modern engines today.

Yes, very frustrating. These poor people waiting for their truck forever and here I have the truck but can't take delivery as it sits on the lot waiting for a label. Oh well I just have to hope Ford is better at mailing items out than they are at building and delivering vehicles!
