Yeah I've had the truck for 10k miles now and the issue hasn't started to pop up until recently.

Sorry, the brakes will basically progressively grab harder until it downshifts, then it does it again until it comes to a complete stop. Let's say my foot is on the brakes at 50% pressure, the actual brakes will feel like they'll go from 30% -> 70% -> 30% -> 70% on each downshift.
