Thanks, BK007. Unfortunately, that's not the correct plug. That one is a magnetic drain plug with a 3/8" square ratchet drive head. Here is a screenshot of the plug from the service manual... This is a magnified view...

After lots of searching I can't find the size or part number for the drain plug on my 2025 Hybrid AWD e-CVT. Anyone know? It's a 14 mm hexagonal bolt head.

He said a 2.0. I believe the EB is the only 2.0 liter. The Hybrid ICE is a 2.5L. I agree with Cherokee. I'd be afraid that adding external flow and a filter would increase both fluid volume and pressure requirements but I'm no engineer.

One of the many reasons I bought a 2025 Hybrid AWD Lariat with 4K tow package instead of waiting until 2026. Standard spare under the bed and jack/tools. It makes me crazy that the auto industry has moved away from spares and tools.

Yes, agreed. ALL Mavericks come with a tow hitch and 4 pin connector, so small/lightweight trailer towing is absolutely possible with any model. Goes to show that any Maverick is a terrific utility vehicle straight from the factory.
