Guessing you have a great dealer. Yes, it's getting so annoying....wasn't too bothered for the first week, but now I'm looking at another month or two!
Yes, I've heard of so many failures of these parts that it makes one wonder why there wasn't an actual recall.....of course, that's because they don't have parts. They need to figure this out. It's a huge customer service issue imo as I feel I'm literally getting the shaft from them.
I agree with the redesign because I've heard it's a new part number....makes me wonder that. Points to inferior design/manufacture in the first place imo. They rushed the vehicles out without a lot of testing is my guess.
I don't think it's the dealer as I've called Ford Customer Service and they say they're putting it as urgent, but nothing to date.....I find it hard to believe they put them in new vehicles, and yet can't find one for a repair. I do say you might find shortages with other manufacturers, but...
Well I am complaining but I'm also wondering if anyone else has had the experience to wait 2 months or more (as they can't give a date) for parts. I'm not buying another Ford after this experience......not having parts for a common (yes, they extended the warranty cause they know it's a...
Yes, but I have to wait to get mine back so I can trade it in......It's not something I'd like to sell private party after. Waiting 2 months is beyond ridiculous.
Nice suggestion, but I'll never buy another Ford after this experience. I feel that they have those parts - they're just using them in new vehicles and my pain while waiting doesn't matter to them. It's a bad strategy for repeat customers.
Yes, I'd be o.k. with the loaner if I were allowed to drive where I want....I will go to Cali for an event twice in June and I can't take the loaner...I really feel Ford should have those parts. It's not a dealer problem; it's a Ford Corporate problem. They continue to churn out new vehicles...
Correct.....and it's what I'll do the minute I get it back....But waiting 2 months for parts they know they have an issue with (since they extended the warranty on them up to 150,000 miles) is ridiculous. Those parts should be available.
Thank you! Yes, I am pressuring them as I'm calling all the time. Believe me, I did think of driving that loaner 8 hours a day! The truck is covered by the powertrain warranty. Also, Ford know there's a problem with these parts as they've extended the warranty on them to 10 years...
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone else is having the experience I currently am having. My vehicle - 2022 Hybrid - was have a really bad shudder going uphill using the accelerator and when I brought it to the dealer it turns out both right and left axles are bad. They further informed me after 2...
