That still doesn't explain the picture that Ford's website uses to advertise the Maverick's towing capacity. That airstream is definitely beyond 40 square feet frontal area.

I think this is probably accurate. I'm going to attach the official "2025 Ford Maverick Towing selector" PDF and an image that would make 0 sense otherwise, because this airstream in the pdf is obviously bigger than the recommended frontal area.
