When launching, does your exhaust go in the water? Depends on the ramp, but I can usually avoid it
Any issues with towing...
My boat is ~2000lbs and my mav pulls it no sweat. Recently took it out on a trip 50 miles each way on some hilly terrain and averaged over 20mpg at 62mph.
2.0 XLT AWD 4K towing, owned since early Nov now with 4000 miles (stupid holiday travel). I have had no issues other than the radio tuning getting frozen/sluggish sometimes. Taking it in for its first oil change Wed, so maybe something will pop up on inspection.
With it being cold now, I have been starting my Maverick up 5 mins before I leave every day. I am noticing a normal water drop out the end of the exhaust, but also one a couple feet further up the exhaust. Wondering if anyone else is seeing that? I haven't gotten underneath to see exactly where...
I hauled my boat to get winterized today with my new Maverick with 4k towing. Lund Angler 1650, probably close to 2000lbs and the Mav handled it like a champ. Only 23 miles, I ran cruise at 71 in tow haul mode. It was very smooth, super impressed.
Picked my 2.0 awd with 4k towing maverick from a dealer yesterday about 2.5 hours away. Ran in eco mode most of the way back going 79 mph. Was hoping to hit that 30mpg, but might have been going too fast for that
The Line-x place in my town is out of Line-x and would do it with another product for $615. Rhino-linings was ~$500, and a couple other non nationwide places were all around $500. Des Moines IA. Dealership wants $600.
I was able to reserve a stock maverick arriving next week at MSRP with the 4k towing package at a dealer in Minnesota (i'm in Iowa). I talked to around 10 dealers and only 2 mentioned selling over MSRP (woodhouse in Omaha was the 1 I remember) for their stock Mavericks. The 4k tow package seems...
I was able to secure a retail Shadow Black XLT 2.0 with AWD and 4k towing package from a dealer 2 hours away from me yesterday. It is one of 2 they are getting and they need to keep it on the lot for 2 weeks before I can take it, but I secured one. There were a few retail ones around the Midwest...
I am just about to order a carbonized grey xlt with 4k towing and 110v /w inverter. A couple dealerships are hopeful for 8-12 weeks, while 1 said 5l6 months. Just wondering if I should expect 6 months build time for a new order.
