For a standard 12V lead-acid battery (flooded, gel, or AGM), a charger should supply between 13.8V and 14.4V (up to 15V for deep cycling) during the main charging phase. Once fully charged, the charger should drop to a maintenance or "float" voltage of 13.2V to 13.5V to prevent overcharging.
