The kit will only fit a 6.8” screen and there’s only a select few that will work. The aftermarket radio has to have the chassis separate from the screen.

It’s a kit from metra.

The SWC are now working but another harness is needed for the backup camera. I don’t care enough about it to get the parts but it is an option if you wanted it.

I used the LocPro harness to tap into the speakers. Besides the dsp the factory unit also blocks certain frequencies. I know you can set the eq in FORScan to correct this but it just didn’t sound that great.

Got it installed last night. Ran out of daylight so backup camera and swc aren’t working yet. Should have time this weekend but for now I’m enjoying the new sound. Huge difference from this and the DSP I was using for the subs.

Looks like the last piece needed will be delivered Monday so should have an update soon. Here is the radio I chose. This one and I believe one other from pioneer will fit. It is a modular unit that allows you to install the chassis separate from the screen.

If anyone is still interested Axxess has released this harness for the 22-23. They said it should also work with the 24 but haven’t tested it yet. I’m just waiting on the dash kit to arrive and will test it in my 24
