  1. Custom flexible bed divider DIY (credit to psuarmy for idea)

No skill at all. Pick your boards and make some cuts, then make some dado cuts. Now I do have a set of dado blades so it was quick work. If you have a table saw with only a single blade you can still do it, just takes a lot more passes. If all you have is a miter saw, you can still make dados...
  2. Gear shift hand rest DIY

Seriously. I love this. Not sure where the designers thought a little turn dial is what the consumer wanted.
  3. Custom flexible bed divider DIY (credit to psuarmy for idea)

I used spray paint so hoping no too many marks on plywood (what I would normally haul with them) And that just makes sure I sand them out.

  8. Drive Modes (SPEED!)

So today I was dropping the kids off at grandmas. I decided to try out a few of the other "Drive Modes". Eco: Nice and normal what I have been driving as. Most of my drives are back and forth from daycare and family runs or will be hardware/wood trips. Slippery: No idea what this does or how...

Just talking about this and curious how it would handle. How'd it do and do feel good about a longer haul at that weight?

Update. Tarp, tie downs, red flag, and rubber bungies done. (free due to a very old HomeDepot gift card). Booking the liner and think I'm settled on the Truxedo TruXport soft tonneau cover.
  13. What do you wish you knew or did after you got your Maverick?

Looks like they have quite the product line. Will have to look into lasting power. I want to keep looking new but not be the guys that spends more time cleaning and maintaining then driving.
  14. What do you wish you knew or did after you got your Maverick?

@Gpp I like the idea of the auto stop eliminator. Already tired of hitting that every time. @nunucello I never heard of paper tape. I'll have to look into that.
  15. What do you wish you knew or did after you got your Maverick?

TARP! That's a great idea. I do hunt and plan to put some deer back there this year. That is an excellent idea.

First post/First question/First Maverick. Hello! Since first post. Little into, been looking at Mavericks for 3 years and finally was able to take the dive. 2025 XLT Luxury package. And I am excited to get rolling on everything I can do again with a truck. Had a Subaru Forester for the family...
