Again, realizing this is an old post but in case someone else has the same problem...
I found a part number at Eastgate as posted above ... Which looked like the nut we were all looking for.
But, no diameter listed so hard to know for sure...
Searched that part on Amazon and ended up here...
FYI... Couple of the part numbers above were not for the nut....
Here is what I found... After a lot of looking haha

Chalk up another P0496/ P0451/ Krown rust protection issue...
In any event I decided to replace the FTPS as the most likely culprit (ford recommended evap purge valve but that's 4 times the price haha).
Came today... As shown there is a difference between the old and new... A grey plastic cap...
Do these prevent snow from getting around the wipers and under the hood where the washer nozzles are?
First winter with Mav and three snows in I'm finding it hard to clean out that area compared to past vehicles!

Not unheard of to use the hypoid in the rear per this chart... But Maverick calls for the special RDU... It is US spec so thank @Meeka for confirming it's not a cold weather thing... Also found the French Canadian one... Shows...
Looks like I got screwed...
From another post... Close but no cigar on the part numbers and lower down in the post different spec numbers too ...
Front PTU
XY-75W85-QL
Motorcraft® SAE 75W-85 Premium Synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant is an excellent multi-purpose extreme pressure lubricant...
Ok now I'm worried...
I did both PTU/ RDU a few weeks ago...
But the dealer gave me the same stuff for both. Doesn't match the RDU bottle in your post.
Opinions or explanations anyone?
I'm in Canada if that matters.
For posterity... In case someone else experiences...
Popped the trim off and took some pics of the rub spots underneath.
Lot of salt on my roads in winter... Touched up what I could see
Thanks folks...
I think the previous owner had a tonneau and I'm going to put a soft roll up on too to keep my groceries dry.
Thanks for checking @Waterick
Mine definitely have some play up and down at that end. Just looked closer and the whole peice has play back and forth horizontal along...
Hi all
Bought my used 2022 XLT FX4 this past Friday!
As I was doing my walk around to find all the paint chips to touch up noticed that these 2 might be from vibrating bed rail trim. (There is some play in the trim at this end).
Any body solve this problem before?
Trim looks like it is fully...
