I had the same issue as OP, hate the non adjustable headrest. I swapped my 24 XLT cloth headrest cover with a lariat leather adjustable headrest with no issue. The cloth cover doesn’t have as much cloth to be stuffed into the posts but it’s barely noticeable from the backside. Functions great...
