  1. Hybrid-Cold Weather-Heater

When the temperatures are below 30 degrees, it takes my truck forever to blow warm air from the heater. The engine temperature gauge never gets out of the blue. This is city driving, if I go out on the highway it will warm up and blow hot air. Is this normal for the hybrids?
  2. Motor Symbol on 2025 Lariat Hybrid

That engine symbol is always there. It is possible you never noticed it before. If it wasn't there and suddenly popped up, then you certainly have an electrical issue (short) or something weird going on.
  3. Premature rear brake rotor wear

I am interested to see if this is a rare occurrence or will most of us experience accelerated wear?
  4. Speaker behind Front Grill/Bumper Area

So many conflicting reports, it is hard to know for sure. I can see where one would be liable if you disable it and it results in an accident. Not sure if this kind of thing is being enforced beyond the manufacturer?
  5. Speaker behind Front Grill/Bumper Area

Actually, it is not illegal to remove it for the consumer. It is illegal to remove it if you are the manufacturer.
  6. Hybrid/electric system failure warning light on dash

Let me clarify a few things since some of the posters on here are confused. Hitting the pedal like I did was an accident. I have been driving my old Mach 1 for the last several weeks. It starts totally different than the Maverick (obviously). Some of the responses were of the nature, why...

  9. Hybrid/electric system failure warning light on dash

"Switch to sport mode. By the time you get onto the highway the engine will be warmed up enough". How o you know how long it takes to get to the highway, maybe some people live right off the highway. Also, Ford recommends not revving the engine up right away on new vehicles during break in...
  10. Hybrid/electric system failure warning light on dash

I guess you guys don't read your owners manual
  11. Hybrid/electric system failure warning light on dash

A quick and easy way to warm up the engine before a trip is to just press the accelerator down. Putting it in sport mode will do nothing as far as sitting in the driveway. If you are like me, and you live close to the highway, it is probably better to let the engine run a minute or two...

  13. Hybrid/electric system failure warning light on dash

On the Maverick Hybrid, you press the accelerator pedal down after turning the key to start the engine. This is done in instances when you want to warm the engine quicker. In my case, to warm the vehicle a little quicker before heading to work. Sorry you guys thought I was that ignorant to...
  14. Hybrid/electric system failure warning light on dash

I hopped in my 2025 Maverick this morning and went to start the truck, I pumped the pedal as I turned the key. At the same time my foot slipped off the gas pedal about half way down. I quickly tried to pump it again, so I essentially double pumped the gas pedal about half way down each time...

  16. 2025 Maverick Hybrid HF55 Transaxle Info (nice write up)

Only the 4K towing package trucks get the 3.37 final drive ratio.
  17. 2025 Maverick Hybrid HF55 Transaxle Info (nice write up)

That is not true, my 2025 Hybrid is 2.91 gear ratio for the final drive.
  18. 2025 Maverick Hybrid HF55 Transaxle Info (nice write up)

I think the HP and Torque ratings are the same. The only reason the 2025 is quicker is if you have the 4k version, with different gearing. If you get a 2025 XL with the 2k tow package, the 0-60 times are the same as previous models, since it will have 2.91 gears.
  19. Looking to buy 25 AWD Hybrid - Have these issues been remedied?

It is my understanding that the axles have been upgraded in the 2025 Maverick.
