Its an automatic brake hold. If the truck is completely stopped, you can take you foot off the brake and it will automatically hold in place until you hit the gas.

I don't regret my xl at all. I work for Ford so I got it for employee price. I do miss the sync system from my 21 Mustang. But over all its my daily commuter and it serves its purpose. And if I want to drive something nicer I have a GMC Sierra that has all the bells and whistles. Its...
