With varying degrees without braking. Yes. I dont know why on normal mode it does this. But it will downshift as normal automatic should so as to not stall but it wont be aggressive in normal mode with braking.
Interesting
im im sure it will go up soon ive seem it before. Rough country updates their price. Their amazon store gets rid of old stock and then ups the price to match.
The Hard trifold flip up cover by roughcountry was originally 650$ ~6months ago it then went to 750 now just recently it has gone too 850.
Luckily I found it on Amazon for 750 but it wont last long.
Must be the tariffs.
Many reasons like what?
All im trying to convey is that a 2k mav can overload up to 4000lbs and not exhibit any tangible evidence of being overloaded. Since the geometry and suspensions are the same. As ive said before the longevity of the drivetrain is more of a concern.
“Do you know why i pulled you over”
“No”
“I think your trailer is 400lbs overweight”
“Please drive ur vehicle over my state issued trailer scale.
You guysare missing the point. The officer needs evidence to pull you over. They won’t just pull you over for nothing. The Maverick can handle 2000...
they can only pull you over if they see the trailer swaying or generally a reason for the stop. There is no geometric reason the mav cant tow 4k since the 4k doesn’t include geometry changes.
please read the other comments in this post as ive already addressed this confusion.
No not the hybrid 2.5. I was just speculating that ford is using the 1.5L oil cooler used for the engine from the bronco sport. Since ford uses the same platform for the maverick.
Nope just a resource to help others see what the difference is between 4k and non 4k vehicles since i couldn't really find a good one. I also find it very hard to believe the maverick has the same tow rating to a 2.0 FWD Ford fusion.
I do agree that percentages should not be used as a...
im assuming ur Mav is an ecoboost from ur account flair you will be gettting 238hp
Also here is the graph for the 2025s
ur Mav should be the 8,130 one
Check the driver side door jam when you get it, it will give u ur towing specs.
Then subtract the 4000 tow capacity and the maverick dry weight...
The highest GCVWR capacity maverick you can get is the 2025 Hybrid AWD with the 4k tow pack. I have not towed yet but from other people towing 4000-4200lbs isnt really an issue for the maverick. If you want more power i would go with a 2024 Ecoboost AWD with the 4k because it has more hp (250hp...
Yeah Fords maverick builder isnt the best for specifications.
Also when i was talking about the 2.0 and 1.5 I was trying refer to either the transmission coolers capacity or trying to name the cooler in which ford is using a 1.5L i4 rated trans cooler in their 2.0L i4. for, since most car...
But a few hundred pounds over in good weather conditions on flatter ground shouldn’t be a problem. Obviously ur insurance and warranty matter buuuuuuuuuuut, 1. Dont crash 2. How would the warranty police know how many lbs you tow.
Yes, GCWR is very important to understand when towing. Eco fwd have the least payload amounts. This is the best resource for it before you get ur maverick. All ur personal towing info is in ur doorjam. On a sticker.
This is for 2022-24 mavericks
Most definitely, I would recommend it to anyone living places where above 90f+ happens for weeks. But hey, most new cars dont have overheating problems. I for sure would stick to 2000lbs sharp in those conditions though with mine.
I dont even know if people can own hybrids or electric cars in...
