I thought a lot about the elevate system with rails but decided not to based on price. I have a trifold tonneau now, but want racks for occasional lumber or kayak. I'm thinking of one roof rack on the cab and one bed rack at the very rear. I wouldn't be able to close my tonneau but I'd be...
I got LineX sprayed a month ago and they removed all that hardware, sprayed, and then reinstalled it, so there is no spray on the hardware.
They didn't plug the previously unused holes for extra tie downs and bed tie down rails, so when I went to install D rings and tie downs there was liner...
I just added these 4 tie downs to my 2025 XL this morning. The M6 tapped easier than the M8, but they both felt normal to me and the threads that they produced looked normal also. I put a reasonable amount of torque with a normal sized allen wrench and they all feel secure. I had more spray...
I did read that thread that a couple of you posted before I posted the question... it is what made me realize that my holes might not be threaded. I'll get a tap as recommended to clean the liner out of the holes, since a $10 tap is worth more than the hassle of a sheared off bolt or mangled...
Okay so it sounds like unlike previous years, the 2025 XL has threaded holes. If I didn't get a spray in liner in the holes, I wouldn't have to tap, but with the hole full of LineX, I'll probably have to. Maybe I'll try threading in an M8 bolt first before I buy a tap to use once.
I picked up an XL last week. I could have sworn that the holes in the bed up near the cab for a tie down D-ring looked like they were threaded, and maybe even the ones up on the side. I was searching here to see what size bolts and rings people were ordering and it looks like I need to get a...
I can confirm that if it was built after April 25 it was fixed at the factory already and you'll be able to take delivery. I picked my 25 up yesterday; it was built mid May.
Although, I've been told that since my original order price is lower than the employee pricing off of the current MSRP(due to price hikes in the last few months), that I don't get employee pricing, just honoring the original order price.
My Maverick was just delivered to the dealer, built after the stop sale so I'll be able to pick it up probably Monday.
I asked about employee pricing, and they said yes, but it is applied to the current MSRP ($1500 higher than MSRP when ordered). He gave me the number with the employee...
I think the recall ended with trucks built at the end of April, so a May build should be good, unless they change it or I don't understand it correctly.
I don't have mine yet, or my truck, but I recently ordered the Gator Soft Trifold.
It's $239 right now, cheaper than most soft rolling and by far cheaper than any hard.
Gets good reviews on this forum.
Installation does not include clamped rails along the length of the bed. The first panel...
Hopefully for those of us that had a production date after April 24, they will be able to sell after delivery still. Mine was built in mid May and is currently on a train.
I ordered my hybrid AWD at the end of January for an MSRP of $30,465 including destination and delivery. The dealer was giving me $500 off so my order was $29,965.
The truck just shipped so I have a window sticker now, which shows an MSRP of $32,160 (base price went up $1,595)...
I have no clue what to expect for a price when mine comes in. My order was confirmed on January 27, and it's scheduled to be built next week, May 12. Employee pricing was extended to July 4, so I should probably have it by then, but there was also a price increase... the best bet would be...
There seems to be lots of variation in time from order to build and shipping so I figured I would add mine to the data set. I've seen some posts recently with Jan 25' orders already built.
January 27, 2025 - Ordered an XL AWD Hybrid with no options besides the 2K hitch. Email from Ford that...
