I thought this maybe the case as well but I am not so sure. Sometimes it almost sounds like it’s something rotating making the sound. Like a clutch or something not lining up when the engine changes modes.
My truck was great up to 15k miles. It was very smooth not noticeable when switching from ICE to electric. Then all of a sudden it started doing the shutter and rattle every once in awhile . Now it’s been 10k miles since it started. It happens more often now and it’s louder. Also it could be me...
If it makes you feel any better mine has about 25,000 miles on it currently and has been doing it since about 15,000 miles. I still have no resolution on mine either.
Ford dealer and ford directly both claim my issue is normal operation. They did not offer a fix.
I have seen on this forum one guy had issue resolved with pcm update but there is another thread that says it’s a much more involved fix...
My hybrid has an occasional rattle at low speeds or idling when the gas engine switches off. Has been back to ford dealer twice and the last time they contacted ford directly. They claim this is normal operation. It is occasionally in normal and eco drive modes but happens most in sport since...

So dealer says power train and parking brake issues are being caused be a sensor that they are ordering and will call me when they get it. For now I am stuck with the intermittent audio issue because it wouldn’t do it while it was there. And they say the oil around gasket was caused by oil left...
So I am right at 12k miles. The truck is currently having electrical issues. Power train failure and parking brake errors. My radio goes full blast static and then has no audio intermittently. And my oil pan gasket is leaking. I loved truck up until this point but I am starting to get a little...
I really believe this is a design defect in our cover. If that side rail was just a half inch longer everything would be great. I contacted BAK and they say this is the correct fitment. My reply was the correct fitment leaves a huge gap. They said add some foam.
I recently received and installed a BAK x4s tonneau cover. The fitment seems off. I contact support and they say it’s fine. I would like to see photos if possible of others that have this cover. Preferably the area really near the rear window. My cover seems to come up short of meeting the...
