The screws to attach to the bed didn't fit the pre-drilled holes on the Maverick. I had to find larger self threading stainless steel screws.

No, there was an empty bracket that holds something on the higher end models. But the XL didn't have it installed. I actually bent the bracket in a little to allow room for the case (it has my camp cooking gear in a re-purposed Dewalt Drill case).

It actually all closes up, the seat down and seat back.
