You can overcome the felt issue by getting a fabbed full body skid plate. I have a 2" lift on rear and a 1" level kit in front. Also put 32" tires on the rig so she goes where I tell her in the woods.

I have trapped enough mice now to make my wife a full length fur coat. About the only thing to do is keep traps inside your truck with peanut butter balls on the spring. Plus my cat is lazy and does not get any mice. I put the traps under the passenger seat and have scored hits all the time.
Has anyone tried window films to aid in the prevention of rock chips. My 23 MV has gotten several chips since I bought it. Are window glass gotten thinner?
