Mine did the same thing on my new Lariat hybrid. I washed and rinsed the windshield twice. I then wiped the blades With a damp cloth. It’s worked perfectly since then. Mine did the same thing. I hand washed and rinsed the windshield and wipers twice. The wipers have worked normally since then.
