Agreed! Not only does a hood with support struts require more hood strength where the struts attach, but it MUST have a spring assisted 'pop open' functionI to lift it slightly and allow the strut geometry alignment into the 'aligned to open vs aligned to close geometry!' IMHO, Strut-less hoods...

Funny this came out 3 days after the other cash Ford rebates on Maverick expired 3/31/2025! The largest was the $1000 for Edge Owners Loyalty Rebate. Most of the others were around $500.
