  2. Connecting Maverick to ASUS router.

I guess if you go into Settings and you have a WiFi settings box, you probably have WiFi.
  3. Console Slot - What does it do?

Your right it does fit, I thought I tried it when I got the truck, and it wouldn't fit. Sorry to waste everyone's time because of my bad memory.
  4. Connecting Maverick to ASUS router.

My Mav always seems to be downloading something, once in a while it will say "Congratulations you're using the latest version", but it's still downloading stuff, so am I really using the latest version.
  5. Console Slot - What does it do?

Not sure what that means, the CAC card is just a little bit wider than credit card, so I don't see how it would fit without doing some cutting.
  6. Console Slot - What does it do?

Ok, the one thing I could actually use it for, a CAC card to get on post, and it doesn't fit.
  7. Console Slot - What does it do?

Just got my Mav last month and still going through manual, but I can't find anything on what this slot does. Is it to hold one credit card? That just doesn't make sense. Anyway, I'm not going to stick something in there until I know what it does. (that's what she said)
  8. Ford Pass, What's up with that?

Your pic shows a hot pepper red Maverik with a black kit, I love that, had to settle for a terrain since Lariats are hard to find anyway.
  9. Ford Pass, What's up with that?

Yes, the autonomous car thing is a bad idea at this point, we will have to change the roads so the AI can understand how to drive. But that of course, will cost billions, and will not happen soon.
  10. Ford Pass, What's up with that?

Well that's awesome. True, I don't see any ads, or weird behavior from the app. It seems strange a company would give something this good and free to their customers. Bandwidth costs money, they must be doing or selling something to make a profit off the app.
  11. Ford Pass, What's up with that?

    A. I would guess that the "Seat Sensor" detects a "Body" by weight.. And is configured to operate that way, for it being occupied.. Excellent answer, you must be a software developer to think of that.

That's the way it was designed, when come to a slower vehicle and change lanes, it will floor it to pass. I was surprised by that too.
  13. Ford Pass, What's up with that?

Seems like a great idea, a modem built into the truck that you can connect to all the time. But I don't get it. What you get with Ford Pass. Location. Fuel milage. Tire Pressure. Auto Start and Lock. Here are some things I don't understand. What is it connecting to? I assume a cell tower...
  14. Connecting Maverick to ASUS router.

Just in case this helps someone, my Maverick would not connect to my ASUS router using WPA2. I could create a Guest Network and it would work fine with that, but for updates I wanted it connected to my network all the time. In the Wireless settings, change the Wireless Mode to Legacy. It...
  15. How Do You Use ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)? An observation...

For me ACC takes care of the micromanagement of driving, so I can concentrate on the big picture, which is the traffic around me. If I want to change lanes, I can turn my head and take a good look without running into the car in front. It does seem to have a panic attack if the vehicle in...
