Fantastic feature for Florida! I use it all the time—or at least when I know my schedule within a few minutes. Remote start using the app is so easy—open app, slide slider—that I most often simply do that as I'm leaving my desk for the 4 minute walk to the truck. Very helpful for old guys like me!

I would use it to hold down rowing equipment—sliding seat drop in units, oars, life vests, etc.

Notice it has a clip? You can hide much of the cord and clip it to the plastic molding to get it out of the way (mostly).

I feel your pain! I was in line at the gas station preparing for a hurricane and filling up gas cans. Went to the bed to pull out the cans and shut the door. I actually have the app on my phone, but locked both keys and phone in car. Hadn't set up the door keypad yet since the car was purchased...
