Three years ago, I bought a Subaru Outback because Mavericks were hard to get in a timely fashion. Like you, I just sold the Outback to Carvana (Driveway.com made a similar offer, but I had a positive prior experience with Carvana). I have an AWD Hybrid on order.
I test drove two Mavericks last week and both had the same dash rattle. The sales consultant blew it off, but when I declined to buy either one he quickly said "order a 2025...they fixed it on the new ones." I did...at another dealer.

The dealer has no incentive to decline warranty coverage. If a modification you did is the reason a part failed, then the repair becomes your responsibility.
