It wasn’t pulling against me. I still had my foot mostly on the brake as I was easing out of the pump, never felt it try to accelerate from under me. It’s possible it would have but I can’t know since I never had my foot completely off the brake.
However, right when I stopped the car and...
hey yall, just had a look through this thread. This issue just happened to me for the first time. 24 XL hybrid 57k miles. Just finished filling up with gas and was about to drive off when the engine started revving. Put the car in park and switched to neutral and drive again to try and replicate...
Just finished this mod after a few months of piecing together the parts and mentally preparing myself as I have little to no experience with wiring, crimping, etc
I opted for a longer LED because it fills out the amber cover fuller and disperses the light better than the circular LED
Didn’t know that. Hmm.
what about getting the turn signal trigger off of the trailer harness?
Or (in theory) even running a wire from the front turn signals all the way to the back?
the brake light would still blink but you’d also have an amber blinker, which I would be ok with
I like this idea. I seriously dislike the brake as turn signal too. I have an -idea- for a solution but don’t have the skill to fab it myself… maybe someone with more wiring/pinning-depinning expertise can help. My thinking is to use the reverse light slot for the turn signal.
Swap the white...
Thanks y’all for the replies. Ended up draining some from the bolt. I expected an oily mess but on the contrary, hardly any oil seeped past the threads as I loosened until I unthreaded the entire plug and just held it in place. Wasn’t gushing out like I thought. Probably because I hadn’t started...
Hey y’all, I f***ed up
Doing my oil change on my hybrid. Pre-filled new filter to about 80% capacity (just under where the threads start) and forgot to account for this when adding oil up top. Added about 5.6 qts of new oil (by eyeing the markings on side of oil containers) and realized too...
Alrighty, I’ve gone through all 28 pages of this thread over the course of 4 hours trying to make sure I do everything correctly as I have little to no wiring experience. But honestly I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the info.
I already had the DD Elite fogs fully installed with their provided...
Hi there. So you say it should be self explanatory to NOT use the post under the black X cap. Can I ask why?
Reason I ask is because I just installed the Diode Dynamics fog lights and that’s exactly where they say to put the positive lead from their harness. So are they doing it wrong?
