Ford changed the oil filter for 2025. Auto Parts stores do not have it. Had to go to the dealer to get one for my 1st oil change. Motorcraft part # FL-2127 (NU2Z-6731-F)
I had the same problem. I ordered on August 9, 2024 and didn't hear back from Ford at all. I finally called Ford two weeks ago and they told me there is a build date for the week of Nov 18th (XLT, 2.0, LUX, FX4, 4K, Velocity Blue) and gave me my VIN #. The email notification for this process...
Update: Called Ford directly today and found out that my 2025 Maverick is scheduled for production on 11/22/24 and received my vin number. Don't count on getting an email about your order as indicated in their initial email. Call them when the 45 days is up, if you haven't received notification.
I would be happy with the Dear John email stating my truck has not been scheduled for production yet, just to give me some assurance that they still have my order in the system...For all I know, someone could've hit the delete button accidentally :unsure:
