Took delivery late October in S.E. Pa. Local driving and making some effort to drive efficiently, averaged 48 to 52 mpg. Now February and 20 degrees averaging 38 to 42 mpg. Have yet to do any highway driving to speak of. So far it meets my needs perfectly !
Uncanny timing. Just came in from installing same.
That bolt was TIGHT! Thought I was gonna strip the torx socket. Didnāt have an impact wrench on hand. It finally broke free without damage.

So. Iāve ordered the Undercover Ultraflex tri fold that I think Iāll be happy with.

As this rack is permanently installed, would it have much effect on fuel economy?

Still inclined to go with the Undercover Ultraflex and hopefully T-rails for tie down cleats. The Realtruck rep I spoke to tells me the Ultraflex cover is not compatible with the T- rails. Recommends the BAK hard revolver that Iām not sold on. His discount as forum member was less than
5%...

The tri-fold, t rails and cleats are perfect. What tri-fold did you use and speak to the pros and cons.
What brand of roof bars and do they go on easily without damage to door jambs ?

Ive seen that Back Rack offers adapter shim blocks for tonneau applications. Wondering how āclunkyā the back rack would look and if any members have gone this route.
I do want utility however. I will soon consult a vendor to discuss...
