Day 1 About 1 month later! After it's first winter, I did end up taking the bull bar off. The bracket got bent when I hit a snow bank at work and I got tired of it scraping on every driveway.

Chase rack installed! Due to clearance issues with the 3rd brake light, I wont be able to use mounting rings and mount 4 KC Daylighters like I originally wanted. I'll either be doing 2 KC's or maybe a set of vintage style square ones like the 1980s Rangers had. Open to suggestions!

It's also from Broadfeet, I just got the one without the skid plate.

Looks great! I just installed one on my truck, and I have the same wheels on order. I've had no clearance issues, even though my truck is lowered.

Got my lowering springs and bull bar installed today, along with a set of window deflectors. Chase rack is supposed to be here tomorrow and a set of chrome Drag DR80 wheels should arrive Thursday or Friday.

Went great! Have plenty of clearance even with the eibach lowering kit and it looks really good with the bullbar. Just wish my chase rack and chrome wheels would hurry up and get here....

Got the rears and the bull bar done yesterday, working on the fronts today. Should have it done this afternoon.

I'm installing both this weekend, we'll see how it goes and I'll post some pics. Sadly the sparco terra wheels I ordered won't happen. Tire shop called me yesterday and said they could only get 3 in black because they're discontinued, so I'm going with some chrome Drag DR80s instead.

I'm doing a similar build on my shadow black maverick but with sparco terra wheels and 2" lowering springs. I'm hoping I'll have enough clearance to not be scraping the bull bar once I install the springs.

I never knew those existed! They must be pretty rare because I don't think I've ever seen one on the road. My grandpa had a blue dakota sport but his was newer than that. I think it was a 2000 or 2001. We had a lot of fun together cruising in that little truck!

Yeah I love the old Datsuns! I don't think I've ever seen one in person though, they're pretty rare nowadays.
