Got my Maverick at BF Evans Ford in Livermore, KY. Small country dealer. No gimmicks no issues. Sales rep called when it arrived, told me they would prep and call me back.
When he called back, I told him what time we would be there. The paperwork was ready and in the finance office. MSRP+TTL and...
I have officially taken ownership of my Maverick. I went looking for one back in July and all the dealer had on the lot was EcoBoost Lariats. I really wanted a hybrid and preferred an XLT, I just didn't see the need for the extra expense.
I test drove one, but told him I really wanted a...
Got a picture from the sales reps today. It's on the lot. Gotta get all the prep done. He said it could be ready tomorrow, maybe Wednesday. Definitely this week. Mine is the HRP on top.
New to the group. I don't have my Mav yet. It's still sitting in Nashville waiting for a truck to bring it to Livermore.
Where's everybody from? I'm in Utica. About halfway between Livermore and Owensboro on 431.
It's been in Nashville for about a week. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday to next Wednesday. Now they are saying next Tuesday to following Monday. I would imagine the anticipation of bad weather in the region has at least a little to do with it.
Fingers crossed my 13 year old, 200,000...
I always tell my wife later like a kindergarten kid telling mom what I did in school today. "I was driving to work and guess what I saw?" She always knows.
My Maverick was built last week. I called the dealer today to see if he had any updates. It's on the train but hasn't left Mexico. Next stop is Nashville and then on a truck to western Kentucky. He's saying about four weeks. I don't have any way to track it because I am getting an abandoned...
I know 2 different people who went to Walmart for an oil change and they broke the dipstick. Then refused to change the oil because they couldn’t read the oil level and said it was broke when they tried to check it.
I would be happy with an EV Maverick or similar with 100 mile range. That would get me to work and back home twice without needing a charge.
I would rather rent a car for a long trip anyway and put the miles on somebody else's car.
None of the above. I gas up every Friday when I stop to get groceries. Doesn't matter if I am at half a tank, which is pretty normal, or 3/4. This is in my Edge, I haven't gotten my Maverick yet, so that could change to every other week since the mpg will be over twice what my Edge is.
